According to a research from Swinton Bikes, UK’s largest high street insurance retailer, women riders take the lead in biker safety. Swinton’s research shows that women are safer riders and tend to show more interest in advanced rider development training and safety courses compared to men. Swinton’s research also finds men more reluctant in taking up further training after obtaining a motorcycle test.

Swinton Bikes has seen a 14% increase in the number of women seeking bike insurance quotes compared to this time last year.

With  a new bill proposed in North Carolina, scooterist may need to register their scooters at the DMV soon.

If the Senate Bill 195 passes, North Carolina riders would need to register their rides at the DMV and they would also need to provide proof of insurance.
