The third Monday of June is a special day for motorcyclists and scooterists. Each year this day is recognized as Ride to Work day and more than 1 million people participate by riding to work on their motorcycles and scooters. This year, Ride to Work day is going to be June 20.
The event is organized by a non-profit organization called Ride to Work, advocating and supporting the use of motorcycles and scooters for transportation, and providing information about everyday utility riding to the public.
This event offers a great opportunity to promote scooters as a fun and cheap alternative to driving to work. Participating is easy, all you need to do is, to scoot to work on June 20, 2011. Support the action!
